THE ACQUAINTANCE PARTY 2018 OF CCS FAMILY





All College of Computer Studies students gathered to enjoy, meet new friends and have fun with their professors. The Acquaintance Party 2018 of CCS was held on October 25 at Gerry’s Grill SBMA. It has been an anticipated event especially by freshmen who are excited to meet their new friends. The theme of the event was “Calm, Carefree, and Savvy Bohemian Festivity”, so students are advised to ware Bohemian outfits.
Before The party was started Mr. Melner Balce created the barcode the barcode program that will be used during entrance which the students should have their barcode screenshot that will serve as their attendance. The 1st year and 4th year entertained the audience while waiting for other students. The event graced by the presence of Linda Casela Abarintos, Arnie Armada, Melner Balce, Felizardo Bello, Armilyn Martinez, Lanie Peralta- Mirano, Liezel Tolentino
Armada and some college faculty members.
The program started with a prayer. it was followed by the opening ceremony. Then the officers of the student council begin a parlor games among students: sinking the boat, and calm, carefree and savvy reactions. The winner will have a price. then there was also two dance group who performed well in a competition which the winner will have a cash price. After that, Ms. Lanie Peralta- Mirano, Arnie Armada and Linda Casela Abarintos gave the special Awards to the elected student council of CCS.
After eating their meals, they divided the students in 6 colors which are yellow, red, orange, violet, green, and blue. Each respective group are the teams for CSS week but for now they will have to choose their representative for the Mr. and Ms. Calm, Carefree and Savvy. The Mr. and Ms, Calm, Carefree and Savvy award went to Mr. John Miko Barreyro(BSCS 1st year) and Ms Alexis Alleyah royena(BSCS 4th year).  College faculty members gave special prize for the winners of raffle.
Afterwards, Ms. Linda Casela Abarintos, the dean of Computer Studies, gave the closing remarks. The program ended at around 9:30 PM. The party music starts to play which led students to enjoy the dance floor. Until the music turns to be love songs for slow dance so men accompany their love ones to dance.
That night was unforgettable and memorable event for the college students.
